Using LumoDX's optical technology, dentists and health workers can make more informed decisions on oral lesions. Our technology allows health workers in developing countries to use a combination of optical filters with UV light to highlight potentially malignant oral lesions. Our aim is to bring thousand dollar technologies to the ten dollar market.
THE TEAM
Ayush KumarAyush is a Junior at University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign studying computer engineering. His experience in growing companies comes from being the director of EntreCorps Consulting, a UofI consulting firm that focuses on helping early stage startups with strategic recommendations. He also works closely with UofI startups by working as a fellow at Illinois Ventures, a seed/series A venture capital firm.

Aashay PatelAashay is a bioengineering student at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and part of the 2018 matriculating class at Icahn School of Medicine in NYC. He brings 4 years of research experience in biochemistry and medical imaging to LumoDx, in addition to common-sense business knowledge, gleaned from growing up in a family of business people.
